Your Hosts
Anne Easton is a Paris and California-based transactional attorney and founder of Blakemore Law, where she advises clients across corporate, employment, and entertainment matters, with experience spanning technology, media, and private equity. A USC graduate and NYLS alum, Anne built her career in both production companies and major firms, where she counseled studios, networks, and creatives on high-stakes deals, production, and intellectual property. She has played pivotal roles in major acquisitions, advised top industry players, and continues to serve on advisory and nonprofit boards in the entertainment space. After being evacuated from her home during the LA fires, leaving big law, and ending a relationship, Anne launched the “My Lawyer Friend Podcast”, rooted in her belief that big things can grow from ruins. In addition to her legal practice, she is also an independent film producer and writer.

Originally from South Georgia, Brittany brings a wealth of business experience to “My Lawyer Friend Podcast”. As a small business owner managing a portfolio of absentee owner businesses, she leverages her expertise in sales, psychology, and business management to acquire, streamline, and enhance operations across multiple states. Brittany currently resides in Los Angeles, CA, with her two dogs, Maddie and Zimmie, and her two potbelly pigs, Olivia and Millie. Her passion for business and storytelling come alive in fascinating discussions that bridge life, law, and everything in between.
